Our facilitators
John has spent more than 20 years helping organisations develop capable frontline leaders who improve team performance, engagement, and safety.
A leadership consultant, researcher, and former university academic, he has worked with organisations across construction, mining, manufacturing, local government, and infrastructure, delivering practical leadership programs grounded in both real-world experience and internationally published research.
His focus is simple: give leaders practical tools they can use from day one to achieve better outcomes for their people and their organisation.

Tim Spence Thomas
Tim is an entrepreneur who scaled a regional food manufacturer — supplying Woolworths, Coles, and HelloFresh — 10× to a 2× benchmark exit, driven by R&D, technology, and a relentless focus on customers and people.
He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Certificate in Venture Capital from Harvard Business School.
Tim has a particular interest in regional supply chains, workplace wellbeing, and building high-performing teams.

What do I need for each session?
Just a quiet space and your device. A pen and paper can be helpful if you prefer to take notes by hand. Otherwise, all materials will be provided digitally.
What happens if I miss my session?
All sessions will be recorded. Please email team@engagedtraining.com.au if you miss your session and we will provide a link to the recording.
Are the sessions recorded?
With consent from participants, all sessions are recorded. We can provide a link to the recordings if you miss your session, or would like to re-watch it.
What online platform is used?
All sessions are run via Microsoft Teams. You will be emailed a link to enter the sessions and will require a stable internet connection and laptop.
Can I sign up for individual sessions?
Yes. Each session stands-alone so you can choose to do the ones that will suit you best.
Where do I get the workbooks?
Each session requires the coordinating workbook. A link to a digital copy of the workbook will be emailed to you.
